Shawn & Dave St. Jean
For close to twenty years, Dave St. Jean has allowed partiers from all over the world...literally, all over the world...come to his secluded "shack on the hill".

That "little shack" on Patterson Lake has grown over the years, from a simple two bedroom cottage with a huge living room...to a multi-storey home, still with a huge living room.

With every passing year, Dave & Shawn has invited whomever wanted to come to their place and opened the doors to them as if it were their own. There have probably been close to 200 different people participating in the annual Davefest party weekend over those twenty years and Dave can probably tell you the name of each one.

Behind the scenes, what people probably don't realize is the great preparation that Dave & Shawn put into the weekend...all for the benefit of others aroud them. You will find Shawn busily preparing most of the meals throughout the weekend, spending far too many hours in the kitchen. All this while Dave makes sure the cottage and the equipment are in the best shape for us to enjoy.

Not alot of thanks go out to our hosts, so I hope that when you attend Davefest, you show your appeciation to Dave & Shawn. They would probably tell you that to show your appreciation is to have one hell of a great time while you're there...that's appreciation enough!
